Bruker will be running a workshop on structure solution/refinement from twinned crystal data on the afternoon of Friday 13 May (2 pm onwards) just prior to the CEMWOQ meeting.   Spaces are limited!

Registration and abstract submission is now open

Registration and abstract submission are now open for the 3rd Crystal Engineering and Emerging Materials Workshop of Ontario and Quebec (CEMWOQ-3), which will be held at the University of Windsor on the weekend of May 14 -15, 2016. The meeting will provide a forum for researchers with broad interests in the fields of Molecular and Molecule-based Materials, including: 

* structure and dynamics in the solid state
* solid state (topochemical) reactions
* materials properties; conductivity, magnetism, multi-ferroics, optical properties.
* liquid crystals;
* metal organic frameworks;
* polymorphism and crystal engineering;
* synthetic methods; microwave, grinding and solvent-assisted grinding.

CEMWOQ blog and web site launch!

The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Windsor will be hosting the 3rd Annual Crystal Engineering and Emerging Materials Workshop of Ontario and Quebec (CEMWOQ) from Fri. May 13 - Sun. May 15, 2016.

As of Mar. 1, 2016, preliminary versions of the web site and blog are being launched!
